These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Nahom Ghirmay ("we", "us", "NoSkip") governing your use of the NoSkip mobile application (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the App. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account secure.
NoSkip helps you keep a gym schedule you set for yourself. You choose your training days and an optional personal stake, invite a person you trust to act as your accountability partner, and confirm sessions using your location and an optional photo, which your partner reviews. NoSkip provides scheduling, verification, and record-keeping tools only.
NoSkip is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (weekly or yearly) with a free trial, purchased through your Apple App Store account.
All payments are handled by Apple under Apple's terms. We do not collect or store your payment card details.
The "stake" is an amount you choose to hold yourself accountable to. It is a figure recorded in the App only. NoSkip never collects, holds, processes, transfers, or takes a share of any stake. If you miss a session, the stake becomes an outstanding amount between you and your accountability partner, which you settle privately and directly with them, outside the App, however the two of you agree. NoSkip is not a party to that arrangement, is not a payment service, lender, escrow, or financial institution, and does not guarantee or enforce any payment. The stake feature is a personal motivation tool and is not a wager, contest of chance, or gambling product.
When you invite or accept a partner, you share session photos, confirmation details, and your outstanding stake balance with that person. Only invite people you trust. You can remove a partner at any time in the App, which revokes their access going forward.
You are responsible for the photos and content you submit. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You agree not to:
You can report content and block or remove other users from within the App. We review reports and may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. We aim to act on reports of objectionable content promptly. To contact us about a report, email nahomghirmayeyob@gmail.com.
NoSkip is not a medical, health, or fitness-advice service and does not provide training or medical guidance. Exercise carries risk. You participate in any physical activity at your own risk and should consult a qualified professional before starting or changing an exercise routine. Do not exercise in a way that endangers your health to meet a commitment in the App.
You may delete your account at any time in the App. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. Deleting your account cancels your active commitment and removes or anonymises your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy; it does not by itself cancel your Apple subscription.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any stake arrangement between you and your partner. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
If you are a consumer, you have statutory rights that these Terms do not affect. We act as a trader for the purposes of EU and UK consumer law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date and, where changes are significant, notify you in the App. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
